beautiful photos Webkat!

Webbie, someone in the butterfly forum asked about the use of tripods or other equipment to get some of the amazing digital images some of you all dazzle us with. Your pictures of the sphinx moths are so incredible, I thought I'd ask you.

I'll probably post in the BF, too, but I agree. Kat you take THE most gorgeous pics with that little camera. Here I am with a Sony Cybershot 5.2, and I'm still trying to figure out how to use it, and what all the settings do.

I posted my first ever photos on the other forum--check them out. I use the flower mode, but for some reason, I can't pick up the little tiny cats very well. I think there is a way to do it in "record mode", but as I said, I'm still working with it.

I see the Virginia Tiger Moths frequently around my yard, and the 8-spotted foresters, which are gorgeous, too. Now, I'll be able to photograph them (probably not as good as you do, but it takes practice, huh?)
