old floor mirror

I have a old mirror about 6"ft nice molding and a marble or stone bottom.i would like to research it and know cost ..and even what kind of mirror this is....can anyone help me i would appreciate it

Pictures would help. I don't know about anyone else but my crystal ball is on the fritz ATM.

A Victorian pier mirror springs to mind. Is the stone-or-wood bottom a shallow shelf? Is the frame carved? What wood is the frame?

It sounds like a pier mirror to me too, placed between windows and often physically attached to the wall.
