Attached are pics of my kitchen the way it is. I will be putting barn door on the side of the kitchen which opens to the dining room. I am thinking weathered white and red. Still not sure about the colors. As you can see the pantry door is on the same plane as the rest of the cabinets that is eggshell. I cannot match it exactly to the color of the cabs as they were custom painted and highlighted. I do want blackboard somewhere
in my kitchen. i have 3 boys and need a space for my to do list!

my options are
1) match it to the trim color which is PPG dogwood blossom http://www.voiceofcolor.com/digital-color/paint-colors/dogwood-blossom-521-1. and have the blackboard painted in the inset part of the door.


2) stain it to the floor color (floors are old reclaimed bard wood) and backboard paint in the middle.

My Dilemma
Since there will be a barn door...i don't want these doors competing for attention.

Would really appreciate suggestions and design ideas. Love this website and have used it a lot for inspirations in designing the house.
