Painted on wallpaper, now seams are puckering....

Over the weekend I tried painting over wallpaper in my hallway-first I sanded all of the seams and primed with oil based odorless Kilz, then put two coats of latex paint on.

Most of the job looks great, but I can see a few spots where the seams are starting to pucker a little.

Is there anything I can do to remedy this? Not sure if there is any type of clear glue I can use to get the seams to stay down.

There's little "dental" syringes at craft-stores I think...

"Inject" a little wallpaper-repair glue under each, and maybe lean something against it for a while. Maybe a 2x4 with a piece of carpet/foam on the "wall" end?!?

I have a hunch though...this will continue...;-(

Thanks for the advice, I'll try that. I really think the only spots coming up are where I missed a seam when sanding. I sanded down each seam but probably missed these two or three.

Do you think this could get worse? I was hoping that it would not, now that it has dried, seemed to only happen when the paint was wet.

As the paint cures, it will draw against the substrate (tension) and create some of the puckers you are seeing.

You may have to repair them a few times, but once the curing is final, you'll be back to other chores.
