Sounds like a workmanship issue which should be covered under a warranty.

and this was written into the contract?

"matching the existing grade"

Or was the contract to pour a level slab with an eigth of an inch per foot slope away from the house?

Its a done deal ,I had pool area done same thing Id rather tear up and put real brick,thats what I wanted.
