I loved the finished product--very nicely layered.

It was great to see a trad house decorated in a trad way. BTW, the homeowner embraced color and pattern.
The red lacquered library reminded me of something Miles Redd would do,

Re: backyard/basement. It all went in through the front door and out the backdoor for the garden.
I believe the basement concrete pour went through a front window. but otherwise, in front door and down the stairs.

Wow, that must have been a logistics challenge. I suppose they did most of the backyard hauling before they closed up the hall and put that great swinging door in?

I liked so much of the house, traditional with such current conveniences. I like that, since the den was on the 2nd floor, they put in a little bar so Angela could have her evening wine at hand while watching tv. The lighting was well thought out and so pretty. Even opening up the kitchen seemed completely appropriate to the house.
