My faucet won't fit in my sink! Is there a standard size?

We have an IKEA Domsjo single bowl sink and a Danze Opulence faucet. Our granite is being installed tomorrow morning, and I just got everything out to look at it and realized that the faucet does not fit in the sink hole. Is there supposed to be a standard size hole? And is the Domsjo not standard? The Danze says to install it in a 1 1/2 in hole. The Domsjo hole is clearly not 1 1/2 in.

Our sink is supposed to go in tomorrow- getting another sink is not an option. And I love this faucet. Is my only option finding a faucet to fit in a smaller hole? If so, is there another one that looks like the opulence but isn't way way more expensive?

On a side note, I also already chiseled another hole in the domsjo for the sprayer, so we need to have a side sprayer as well.

If you're capable enough to chisel a whole for a side sprayer. How about just chiseling out the faucet hole a wee bit bigger?

I already kind of tried that but the sink is so much thicker where the main hole is- not thinking that will work.I'm afraid it would crack. The sink is thinner where you can chisel out holes- I think it's designed for chiseling.
