I read your message. The Hibiscus you have is that H. rosa chinensis, H. syriacus or another one?
Where is he growing, outdoor? The climate, how is that by you? The soil is very important, they need a good drained soil, not too much water but also not dry out. They also need manure, especial when they get flowers. Let hear from you, maybe I can help you. I am a collector of H. rosa chinensis in Holland. If you have seed, unrooted cuttings or wood for grafting, can I get than some of you??

I too am a collector but I'm in the US. Currently I have over 40 different types (most still small) but I'm sure that Ton is far more experienced than I am. I only started collecting them recently. Hi JC, you should check your soil, position of plants etc, are all criticle for growing hybryd plants need good conditions to thrive. The browning inside the plant suggests a soil deficent of boron, you could try some trace elements, epsom salts and a little siliconite to help remedy your soil. A complete soil test will show you whats lacking. Try these,Good luck. Peter r.
