I spoke with some of the project managers in our company and they say, Yes, you can use clay brick tile for your bathroom wall, however, you should seal them. Otherwise, they will absorb moisture. Not only will that cause some variation in the color, you don't want to accumulate moisture in the walls of your bathroom. Not a healthy condition in the long term. Best of luck!
