Backsplash question

We recently had a dark granite installed on our counters. It is called , steel gray color. We absolutely love it but now what do we do for backsplash? I would like to have white subway tiles with a light gray grout. Will that work with a brown floor and brown cabinets? Would love to hear your ideas!

The color actually looks black with some gray and silver flecks

Adex makes a nice subway tile that comes in sand, and bone as well as white. See the Hampton Collection. You can even get it beveled and crackled.

Use a lt brown grout if it goes better w/ the granite. Be sure you have good under cabinet LED lighting since you have dark granite, you will need more light in the room.

Yes, to your question, light gray will work. Don't grout with white as shown by other poster. You cannot enjoy the lovely look of the running bond pattern. Good luck.
