Can you get by with one night stand? Where do the sliding doors open to? What size is the bed? Can you go smaller with the bed? Can you kit out the closet with organizers to hold your clothes in the dresser? I think you may have to give up at least one night stand, and the dresser to make room for other furniture, like a skinny shelf for the tv and the chair. Or save yourself some bucks, and trouble, and get one of these big pillows that will allow you to sit on the bed, and still watch tv. You can keep it in the closet when you aren't watching or reading.

Unless you were to get some sort of camp chair you can fold up and put in the closet when not in use, I think you need to content yourself that you're going to be watch TV and reading on the bed. The room just isn't big enough for a chair. And you want to be able to freely move around the room especially at night in case of fire.

Don't forget to add bigger lamps to the bedside chests if watching TV/reading on the bed. Looks like that is your best /cost-effective solution.
