It may be foggy and damp here today but this girl is still gardening. Im feeling pretty happy today, looking over my garden and feeling pretty good how it has all finally come together. Thought I'd share with all of you, who have inspired me as I've lurked over the years. Thank you all for your inspiration !!!

Only in my dreams will I ever have plantings like that. You have done a beautiful job ... so calming and serene looking. Mine gardens are in hot, baking, intense sun from daybreak until sunset. I don't even like to go there anymore.

Just out of curiousity - Where are you located that it's foggy and damp right now? I'm in CA and it was 93 today. I would love to be in foggy and damp versus this heat any day!

Yes, I'd say all your hard work has paid off in a glorious way. And aren't grass paths nice too? yeah, maybe you have to keep things mowed more often and edged but it's so pleasing to the eye.

I too like the way the grass path sets off the garden as well as how the walkway to the shed cuts through the bed rather than interrupting it. Nicely planted, with repeats of color to pull the eye down the bed and the curve of the path making me want to follow it. I also like how you incorporate the view of the grass and trees as a backdrop.

Does the sign on your tiny outbuilding say "Casino"? Is there a story there? I also find your gardens incredibly beautiful. Thank you for sharing. Are you registered with the "Million Pollinator Garden Challenge"? Your garden looks like a great candidate.

Thank you for all the nice comments. We live in southeastern Wisconsin and have been getting an unusual amount of rain this year. The 3 seater outhouse was saved at the last minute from destruction (literally) .A farmer that didn't know it's worth about 7 years ago, as one of his employees was taking a sledge hammer to it , I begged him to stop. He told me Mr Smith told him to knock it down. I told him I would talk to Mr Smith myself. When mr Smith showed up a few minutes later, I asked if I could have the outhouse, he asked me, "what you have no indoor plumbing?" He had no clue. I asked my husband to help me bring it home and he grumbled and told me it should be burned..... We brought it home in sections and it sat for a few months. We put it back together, adding a tin roof as the other was u salvageable. It stores some of my garden items and has led to some great conversations. The casino sign was added by my husband, I don't know if I like it there but ....and I haven't heard of the million pollinator garden challenge, I will have to google it, Thanks again.

Very pretty and so NEAT looking. Love the catmint that is not flopping all over the place. Do you know the variety? I've tried Junior Walker and still have a floppy mess!!
