Honestly, a lot of people just put the dryer on top of the washer and are done with it. Even if the brands are different. No stacking kit. As long as your washer doesn't bounce and shake during the spin cycle, you should be fine.

I am going to miss the stainless finish :( I would definitely not stack unless secured. 98% of the time, the Miele just hums smoothly but sometimes an off balance condition will make it vibrate or sometimes jolt pretty good. If there were in an enclosure, I would consider but they are more free standing.

I have the stacking kit from the w1215, I may just tray and make that work.

I may see how feasible it is to get the stainless powder coated white.

I would have considered the little giant but from my research, it requires a full 30 amp circuit, where as the W1215 could use 15 amp (shared with dryer). Running another line would have been very costly since my laundry is on a 3rd floor, and I am not even sure I have enough capacity left with my 100 amp service.

Anyone have interest in a parts machine (w1215). My replacement W3038 is coming in 2 days and I don't have room to keep around so please let me know.
