We have a tiny cabin - 504 sq ft - 1 bedroom, 1 bath -we want to add 1 more room for guests - there is NO room in back to add on and we do not want to connect to garage because that would open another can of worms. We are thinking an extra 200 sq ft-Our only option is to come out front. We need 4ft between addition and garage - I want to retain the cuteness and coziness. Our idea is to use bypass doors between addition and main house so when we don't have guests the new space would be an extension of the living room. In the pic the wall next to the blue couches would be the entrance to new addition. Or when looking at the front of the cabin, the two windows would be removed and replaced with addition.We would vault the ceilings like the main house and use a Murphy style wall bed in the addition. I would like suggestions plus ideas on how to keep the outside view cute and cozy looking from the street. Thanks for your input- the sketch shows our proposed idea.
