Mercury glass technique?

Love the barn door glass. Could you elaborate on the technique used to make the look?

I sprayed the clear glass on the back with a little bit of black-brown spray paint just a little bit, and in the corners. Then I sprayed the same side with mirrored spray paint that you can by at Lowes or Home Depot. the side that is not sprayed turns into a mirror. That is the side that faces out.
