We currently have brown cedar shake and are looking at replacing it with asphalt shingle. Would dark charcoal look good? We are planning on remodeling the exterior - removing weeping mortar, white washing/painting brick or adding stucco but that's not for another 5 years.
A little back story... We had no intentions of replacing our roof this soon but when we pulled back the carpet to install hardwoods we noticed some water stains...and it snowballed from there. Now we need to replace the roof ASAP so we can continue with the floors.
