Size of pendant over large sink?

I don't have to decide until cabinets are in and I can see proportions better in real life but I saw a larger pendant and started to wonder if it is a better fit for our layout, especially given the 36" farm sink. Here is our design:

Here is the larger pendant that caught my eye, dimensions are 12" width; about 13" height - which would put it ending just about at the top of the window trim. Would that break up the wall space and line of cabinets too much to plop it right in the middle like that? Or, since it is set in from the wall about 12" does it nicely balance the big sink?

This smaller example is a typical pendant but a prettier shade. Height from ceiling is adjustable. I started to worry that it would look too small and out of place. The rest of the kitchen lighting is recessed, including over the peninsula. The adjacent dining area to the left will have a semi-flush mount fixture.
Is there an obvious yes/no here? Or something I wouldn't think of until it's too late? Thank you!
