'Super White Quartzite' reviews & experiences

Hi, I have chosen to install "Super White Quartzite" counters in my kitchen. My stone guy tells me it's not a true quartzite (ex: 'Taj Mahal'), but rather a dolomite. He said it's harder than marble but softer than granite. I'm moving ahead because I absolutely love the look of this stone, but would love to hear from others who have this stone regarding durability, etching, staining, etc. Thanks!
