We are about to start building our custom home in Texas on a small ranch. Right now, we have painted cabinets in the design for the kitchen. I keep going back and forth, between stained and painted. We will have quite a few windows in the kit/breakfast area so I think there will be enough light with stained cabinets, but I love the look of painted cabinets. My only fear is that the kitchen will not look "ranch" like enough. I should mention there will be stone columns with a rustic beam going into the kitchen. Please help!!
