PLEASE HELP! Kitchen/Dining lighting
Hi everyone! I have been so grateful in the past for some wonderful advice here, so I thought I would come back and ask for some more. Our kitchen and dining is a combined area that opens to the living area. I'd like to change out the lighting fixtures to update the area and lighten it up. I'm having a problem deciding because they literally are right next to each other. I have some ideas I'm attaching, but if you think something would look better, please let me know! As you can tell from the space, I love the farmhouse style. (Please excuse the mess, we are having a snow day-rare in the South-and my kids have destroyed the kitchen.) I was thinking the mini schoolhouse lights for the island and either the 8 light pendant or the shaker style chandelier for the eat in area. What do you think?

6 years agolast modified: 6 years agoI like the second chandelier better for your room. Schoolhouse pendants would go better with that one. If you want another option, consider getting rid of the pendants altogether and do a rectangle chandelier for over the island:

And pair it with the shaker chandelier over the dining area.
