Since they are fully, 100% biodegradable, I'm not sure why they wouldn't work perfectly well. They are accepted by our local yard/kitchen/food paper waste recycling system. And all of that feeds into a multi county-wide commercial composting operation.

I've heard that some of the compostable plastic bags work a lot better in industrial composting operations where they are subject to high temperatures for a prolonged period and the compost is turned. Just keep in mind that it may not work as well in a home compost pile. In fact I seem to recall the standards for 'compostability' of such products are based on that type of situation.
