Really a nice way to get some more useful space out of a small place

We hang instruments on walls but use empty vertical spaces between art and mirrors that would be too narrow for other things. I think guitars are pretty, think of them like art. In an office, mix them up with diplomas or other officy-type wall hangings.

I love Karen's idea.

Offices and instruments don't clash, IMHO. Watch a few NPR tiny desk concerts (though I don't recommend packing your office quite so full of stuff). I use my office to write music, so the idea that they clash is pretty funny to me. More pictures of the room? It looks quite small.
