Agree with the matte white with white cabinets.

White sounds like a good idea but before purchasing take a cabinet door and put against the white. I worry about two different whites next to one another. Personally I like the contrast of black. Why are you mixing appliance finishes...just interested in reasoning. I like the idea of not having everything match. Brings interest.

In our last kitchen we had a white fridge with stainless range- no one questioned it. Had the advantage that they were on perpendicular walls.

This is my kitchen with white ikea cabinets, stainless dacor wall oven, and ge matte white cafe counter depth fridge. I really like the look.

Sorry the white will never match the cabinets and stainless is IMO so easy to look after a nice micro fiber cloth and mild vinegar water wipe in the direction of the grain takes 30 secs. Don’y use any stainless cleaners all they do is collect dust and IMO 2 appliances that cloose together need to match and the bonus is when one breaks down the stainless will always be around not so much colors even black is different one maker to another.

We ended up delaying our project, but plan to get two individual wall units (oven and microwave) in matte white and stack them. It's quite a bit more pricey, but it also seems the individual units have better features than the combo.

We're also beginning to lean more towards cabinets that have a little color, maybe green or blue. Cabinets that aren't white/grey will probably enhance the look of the matte white finish (we got the Fridge and Dishwasher in matte white already).

I would say they fridge and dishwasher are both above-average, nothing spectacular but no major complaints either. The frozen drawer on the fridge can be hard to open, but I think it's intentional so that the compartment stays well sealed. The doors on the fridge work well, the inside is well lit and temperature control seems as expected.
