@CAB I hope you'll check back to these threads you started, because I actually posted on your other question a list of Dallas/Fort Worth soapstone information including installers who specialize in soapstone here in the area. Dorado does have a warehouse in Dallas (Carrollton), and they are by far the largest local soapstone supplier in this metro. Following is a copy of a small part of the basic information I posted on your other thread:

Dorado Soapstone, also known as Latera Architectural Surfaces, is located in a building titled Milestone Distributors on 2615 E. Beltline, Carrollton, TX. Pedro Subelza is the warehouse manager, and his office phone is (214) 717-2101. Warehouse hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and viewing appointments are available on the same days from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Carrollton showroom features 3 large soapstone installations where you can see several varieties of soapstone in display kitchens. Dorado previously stocked soapstone slabs in Austin, Texas, but that warehouse is temporarily closed. You'll find an occasional soapstone slab at other warehouses, but Dorado in Dallas (Carrollton) is by far the largest soapstone supplier for North Texas. . . . I know of 3 soapstone specialists in North Texas, David Beatty of Texas Countertops Inc. who has been doing this for 20 years and has a lot of soapstone experience, mobile (469) 789-9983. The second is Luxe Stone Fabricators, Roberta Aleman project manager, phone (214) 280-4986. The third is a brother-sister team where she does the templating and he does the fabricating, contact Mayra Rostro at (469) 363-8969. There are some larger soapstone fabricators, but these three would give better pricing for smaller residential jobs.
