Just answering once will answer all 3, as in C&S Forum, Houseplants & Sansevierias Forums. I triple post that way often, as Maru explained above, only answering wherever the thread gets its first response.

To the OP, I'd take that dried up sphagnum off, it just tends to house insects &/or hide soil problems.

If the decorative pot that it's in doesn't have a drainage hole, I'd drill one in it or be very careful when watering.

Ah, I didn’t know that was the reason for the triplicate posts. I haven’t been active since before Gardenweb joined Houzz.

I don’t see how answering once answers all three though. I didn’t want anyone else to waste their time answering if the identification was already known.

It could be an echeveria melaco that hasn't received enough sunlight. One of my melaco plants looks exactly like this. It's in a pot that is in a shadier part of my greenhouse.
