I recognize a church or grange cookbook when I see it!! That's an old recipe....last saw it included in a cook book from the 50's and it regularly reappears.

I have a turkey. A Trader Joe's I bought and froze. I'd been thinking of cooking it one day and doing porch deliveries of turkey and rolls. My yeast says best by Jan 2020 and no one seems to have any. It's been refrigerated. I think I'll test some with some warm water and sugar and see if its alive ;0)
