What is the floor? Woodwork?

The flooring is white oak and will be finished with a water base finish. Wood work is painted.

can you say exactly what you didn’t like about each colour you tried?

e.g. too light/ too dark / too grey / too purple / too green etc etc

Too gray/pinkish too cool feeling. I do have wheeling neutral on the second floor landing which works well, but looking to update my house.

I used roasted garlic in my new home five years ago, still love it. It goes with both cools and warms. My builder had it color matched and made at SW.

I like both suggestions. Using BM paint but could match. I get sun in the family room and space tends to be on the darker side. How do the colors look when room doesn’t have the light?

Our local Benjamin Moore store has a decorator who will come out to your house and help choose colors for you, based on the light in adjacent rooms. But not sure that is offered by other BM stores. Worth checking with your local store, though.
