We used a flexible nosing on our LVP stairs and we glued it on with contact cement I have no idea what durceramic is but is is actually a tile at all? Maybe post some pics here of the nosing you are talking about .

Thank you. We ended up going with the basement stair nose trim that the installer recommended. It is very... utilitarian and I pretty much hate it but but apparently it won't break the tile. Duraceramic is characterized as an LVT but it is very thin and that appears to be the big issue; It seems to have debuted in 2018 or 2019 and many will no longer install it.
