Will my floors match?

I recently had hardwoods installed in an upstairs hallway. I really liked provincial stain, but the installer told me that provincial with a top coat of gunstock would help match the color to the existing banister and side pieces.
I’m now wanting to get my downstairs redone, but i’m not sure if plain provincial will match the upstairs. I like standard provincial best. Picture for reference.
