Here, the Tea roses leaves can get ratty after Winter so I remove them in Spring for a fresh start for the Teas.

I was just talking with lilyfinch about this the other day. Mostly I deleaf anything with blackspot so disease isn’t living in the soil.

I don’t differentiate between rose groups and just do it until I lose my oomph.

Who knows if it helps or not but I feel like it is beneficial since we have so much mild wet weather
