Do you plan on doing any landscaping? That alone will add more than half to curb appeal.

I'd do this type of porch. you have the perfect space for it.

you could remove your shutters and have more of a modern brick ranch look. don't know what your front door looks like.

I tried to keep it simple, here are my suggestions... The porch would definately make the house interestng... and fun to sit out. An easy and not to too expensive way to enclose it would be to build a pergola over the porch. I would match the white of the windows for any trim or siding your plan to paint (try to match a warm white, not a stark white) and paint the shutters in black or charcoal. As suggested by others, I also suggest to improve the landscaping for more curb appeal. Here's the look...

I’d keep the trim, siding, and garage door a lighter color, or something in the color of the brick tones, and go colorful on the front door.
