I heat my house with two floor mount Fujitsu Mini splits modal 15RLFFH. These units have three filters. The main one is a plastic material that can be vacuumed and cleaned with soap and water. It is recommended to clean it every two weeks.

The other two are small. One is a polyphenol filter that it is suggest it be changed every 3 months at a cost of about $40. The other is a deodorizing filter that lasts three years and should be cleaned every three months. It costs $15.

A technician that did maintenance work a few years ago suggest I remove these filters and not replace them. Does anyone have experience on these models and what would you recommend?
