A sectional/ chaise will also work in this room in they prefer this.

Who's "they"? What do you want? I don't think a sectional will work in such a narrow room. The simple option is a sofa on one wall opposite a wall-mounted TV on the other. And a chair in front of the window facing the camera in your photo.

It’s a pretty small room for such a large piece of furniture. I wouldn’t.

Unless it's for a family with kids, a sectional is not very practical. You lose seating in the corner, and adults don't like to sit as close to each other as a parent and child might (i.e. snuggling). How many people do you plan to seat regularly?

If this is yoir familys tv room, or primarily a space for tweens or teens, you can absolutely place a sectional in this space. One side would be against the window.

And have a couch with two chaises. Works great for us.
