How can I make this ugly exterior look better?

It was the backyard and decent interior that made us buy the ugly duckling. We will enlarge the front window and enclose the carport. I'm stumped on what windows to choose. I think you would call this a mid-century home. It needs to be softened up, I like black windows but I think black and white might be too stark. I'm considering windows that are white on the exterior and black on the interior? We have lots of wood accents and natural textures in our furnishings and plan to have a natural wood door. Any help on improving the exterior and windows would be greatly appreciated. (I tried to cover up the chain linked fence in photo shop for better visibility, not sure why there are pixles missing.)

The front of your house is going to totally change when you enclose the carport. Are you turning it into living space? Do you have a drawing of what it will look like?

What room is that left hand window in? Could you do a huge picture window there?

What color do you want to paint the whole house?

I need to see more of the house and less car and chain link. Waht space is behind that window and also what space is behind the empty space beside the window .I assume that is stucco so maybe plan to add some natural cedar on that wall . But i need to see the whole front of the house . It looks like a MCM house but hard to tell without much better pictures .Post the pics her ein comments no car and furgther back so we can see the front door . DO NOT start another post just all dealing with this here in comments.

Rework the support posts for the carport to eliminate the blocks. Don't enclose the carport. Screen (wood, metalwork...) the left front side of the carport for some privacy for the seating/ table area. New posts/ supports need to be integrated with the privacy screening design wise.
