I plan on building a modern style retirement home for myself in SW Michigan. That puts us nearly in the same weather zone. Obviously, you felt it acceptable to use this type and style door. Am I being stuck in a traditional entry door time warp thinking that a sliding glass door is not effective or efficient? Frankly, this style door would look fabulous on my rendering. I have NOT met with an architect yet, btw. Thank you.
