It is not paint, it is cast stone.

I did something similar in my kitchen. I primed the walls with kilz, then just randomly slapped on sheetrock mud. Varying textures just all over the place--no rhyme or reason, just slap it on. It took a full day to dry because in some spots I made it very thick and rough. Then I painted a light tan base coat. I blended the colors I liked for the faux look, with a glaze and applied it with a sponge and the ragged it off. It came out very similar to this. I used a cream color+ glaze, a dark brown+glaze, and a lighter brown plus glaze. Sorry for all the info but thought I'd share. I am definitely not an artist but it was soooo easy!!!

It is a bit more complicated than that to achieve a realistic look. The material has the color integrated. The work was done by Chateau Cool Stone in Pleasanton, CA. Contact them for more details.
