I am an independent kitchen and bath designer. I offer solutions to problems, help to educate the client regarding resources available and be an advocate for the client in the whole process. I help clients translate their "wish lists" to actual floor plans, solutions, and materials. We discuss what they like about their present space and what they want to change--what works and what doesn't. We set priorities around “needs” versus “wants" in relation to their budget. We address things like: Are there infrastructure problems that will need to be addressed? What appliances will be used? What is the look they are after? Are there universal design needs? What kinds of things can be accomplished within the given budget? If needed I supply cabinets (from stock to custom), fixtures, countertops and recommend contractors.
