BAM! BOOM! POW! Designs for the Comic-Con Fan
Action, Science Fiction and Pop Culture Inspire Bold Home Decor
It's here – Comic-Con 2011's celebration of comic books, super heroes, anime, science fiction and all things pop culture. Some of the movie sneak peeks include clips from The Raven (will John Cusack's Edgar Allen Poe be as cool as Lloyd Dobler?), a total remake of Total Recall, Underworld: Awakenings, and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I.
Are you going? Or would you rather bring the fun graphics of fantasy and comic books into your home decor? Click ahead for ideas on how to include bright color, action figure collections, movie memorabilia, and/or The Force into your personal bat cave or posh living room.

Z-ZWAP! A home theater fit for Bruce Wayne.
POW! Flash-Gordon yellow steps and wall art pack a big graphic punch.
DANG! This perspective is totally trippy, and the crazy-large scale has a maximum impact.
REPEAT! We love the way this display treats action figures to high art. Perhaps they'll be adding more from the Total Recall remake. I'm surprised someone this meticulous would not have left these I.T.B. (In The Box)!
POP! These bright abstract florals in an oversized scale are outlined in black, reminiscent of comic book graphics.
WHOOSH! This surreal building looks like something out of one of the movies being plugged at this week's Comic-Con fete. It appears more bendable than Plastic Man.
ZOINK! These profiles will make sure you never forget which side of the bed is yours!
FANG! A house fit for Edward, this is the Cullen's house from the first Twilight movie.

WHUMPH! This futuristic Ball Chair will muffle some of the louder noises, like CRANG! and SCREEEECH!
KAPOW! Bright color enlivens this white-walled open space.
SWOOSH! This sexy kitchen is just waiting for a superhero to move in.
AHHHH! A perfect lair for The Avengers' headquarters.
PLINK!There's something anime about this glossy space.
DANGLE! This room was made for geeking out.
ROLL IT! The perfect viewing spot for Barbarella, or perhaps The Green Lantern.
THESE ARE NOT THE DROIDS YOU'RE LOOKING FOR! This year marks the 35th anniversary of the year the Star Wars team hit the then-small gathering with a card table and some posters to shill (according to Entertainment Weekly, they sold them for $1.75; now they sell for $3,000). In 1976, George Lucas was looking to make sci-fi popular again. What a long way that franchise and the convention have come since then!
