There's a Zebra in the House: A Classic Animal Print
Animal prints are a popular choice but can be a tough sell to many people. They're naturally wild. As a result, many people are afraid that they can't pull them off in their homes without looking tacky.
A great animal print to start with if this is a fear of yours is the zebra print. It's a great print but it's simple black-and-white color scheme makes it easier to decorate around than other animal prints may be.
Of course, you can choose very bold textured zebra designs for your home. Zebra wallpaper or full-room rugs are examples of this. But you can also choose pillows or other small decor items to begin introducing a new pattern into your home in a small way.
Go wild; have fun with prints!

This zebra-inspired wallpaper is definitely a bold choice. It not only adds texture to the room but also creates an almost optical illusion. You could never be bored in a room like this!
A zebra rug is always a popular choice. It adds an interesting visual element to the room. What do you think of this option?
The best thing about the zebra print is that it's a black and white print. This works well with so many different color schemes. I do love the choice of just maintaining the black and white alone, though. This staircase, with the black and white photo gallery and the zebra rug is a perfect example of that.
A zebra print pillow is a very simple way to start introducing this wild print into the room. I've always like the black, white and pink color combination that we see here.
Re-upholster old furniture in a zebra print to give it a fresh new life! What a genius idea!
As much as I love the black and white color of zebra print, I also absolutely love the idea of changing this traditional color. Zebra prints done in red, brown or blue can make a room very unique and fun.
Here's another example of a zebra print that's changed colors. In this case, the color is much more neutral and what we have is an elegant, upscale piece of furniture.
Here we see how the zebra print can inspire design choices in a more abstract way. The tiled backsplash here is reminiscent of the zebra design but doesn't mimic it exactly. I like this choice for the modern home.
