    Are they wood or vinyl?

They're wood, yellow pine. This is the original first floor of the house before the second floor addition. For the second floor window casing we do match these dimensions and thickness but also use a primed and treated clear yellow pine material available through a smaller lumber supplier here in town. Where older growth pine is more resilient, current pine is less dense so we either prime all sides prior to install or opt for the primed treated

Color was a custom mix/match by the homeowner so we unfortunately do not have a specific reference to provide.

hi! These railings were already in place when we arrived. However, we often use clear #1 choice - treated, fir, or cedar. If you look in our project folder "plaza midwood restoration" you'll see railings we built from treated #1

Those caps are cast in place concrete. They were unchanged during renovation and original to the home.

The entire house is wood, both original first floor and new second story. If you go over to our facebook page you will be able to see more of the construction phase detail. We do our best to match just about every material. If it weren't for new code requirements we'd go so far as to match windows and period glass. The other house on our profile was the last we were able to sneak through prior to energy code kicking in.

It was a color match to an older unknown color so unfortunately we do not have a "name." However, I can see about digging up a mix label from the file

liking painted shingles. Not necessary to be grey but that's the colors in the pictures

I like the wide wood face (vs my house which has thinner wood) that frames the triangle over the front door. Looks much better than mine.
