Sleek Yet Cozy Lounge Area
Plush pillows pair nicely with the charcoal heathered tweed sectional to create a space for our bachelor to kick back and relax.
LABLstudio
A West Village bachelor pad inspired by classic mid-century modern designs, mixed with some industrial, traveled, and street style influences. The space was a pre-war one bedroom that had certainly withheld the test of time, and we wanted to highlight the architectural elements that the space offered (such as the molding details, windows etc.). Our client took inspiration from both this travels as well as his city (NY!), and we really wanted to incorporate that into the design. In the foyer we turned a photo that we had taken of a nearby graffiti wall into a removable wallpaper, that we inset into the picture frame style moldings.

With nothing but a backpack and a few art pieces in hand, our client, with southern charm, was in dire need of furniture and fast. After liking our aesthetic style, Regan Baker Design was hired to help furnish and style his entire 1 bedroom apartment in Russian Hill. The overall color pallet was derived from his uncle’s large scale highway artwork, which is now displayed proudly above the custom sofa. From there we built the design around his love for modern spaces, his personal hobby of photography and his love for music. With the exception of a few great pieces of art, we worked hand in hand with our client to assure his bachelor pad was masculine, yet casual modern and in the end created a bachelor pad Ryan Gosling would be happy to bring his dates back to.

Rich textures balanced with tougher, more masculine elements create a swanky space for our bachelor to call home. A beautiful hand-cut slate coffee table adds just the right touch of toughness to the space.

A mix of luxurious textiles, as found in the velvet draperies, silver silken shag rug and the extremely soft bamboo cotton bedding , are the perfect elements to balance out the masculine suede wall treatment. Thought the predominant dark colors of furniture set the tone of Décor, the lighter elements, bring this room to life in perfect harmony.
