Northern Roof Tiles
Project near Boston MA
Installed by longtime customer LifeTime Tilers of Westfield MA
Onda is a tile that brings the second oldest European style profile (what we in North America know as ‘Spanish S’), into the 21st Century. By combining the classic beauty of the S profile with high tech double side and head locks they can provide a tile that will withstand whatever Mother Nature wants to throw at it.
Once tile makers had mastered the technology of extruding clay to form the shape of the tile, as opposed to shaping a pad of clay round a pre-formed mold, an inventive tile maker decided to combine the existing two piece pan and cover tile into one tile and the ‘S’ profile was born.
The makers of our Onda tile have been able to retain the overall appearance and timeless beauty of the good old Spanish S tile which up to now have simply relied upon overlapping each other to keep out most of the weather.
Available in a range of colors and complete with all the necessary fittings and accessories Onda, like all those offered by our company, are perfectly suitable for installation in the Northern US and Canada.

Conceived as a remodel and addition, the final design iteration for this home is uniquely multifaceted. Structural considerations required a more extensive tear down, however the clients wanted the entire remodel design kept intact, essentially recreating much of the existing home. The overall floor plan design centers on maximizing the views, while extensive glazing is carefully placed to frame and enhance them. The residence opens up to the outdoor living and views from multiple spaces and visually connects interior spaces in the inner court. The client, who also specializes in residential interiors, had a vision of ‘transitional’ style for the home, marrying clean and contemporary elements with touches of antique charm. Energy efficient materials along with reclaimed architectural wood details were seamlessly integrated, adding sustainable design elements to this transitional design. The architect and client collaboration strived to achieve modern, clean spaces playfully interjecting rustic elements throughout the home.

We were brought into this project just as the major remodel was underway, allowing us to bring together a feature-rich audio/video and automation system with elegant integration into the spaces. This system provides simple control and automation of the lights, climate, audio/video, security, video surveillance, and door locks. The homeowner can use their iPads or iPhones to control everything in their home, or when away.

RHEINZINK
The design inspiration for this private residence located in Savannah, GA comes from the architectural and cultural influences of the Caribbean Islands. A primary design goal was to create a one-story house that suited the environment and also broke up the nearly 18,000 square feet of living area. Design for the project was provided by GreenLine Architecture, Savannah.
More than 40,000 sq. ft. of RHEINZINK Double Lock Standing Seam roof panels were utilized throughout the complex. The 0.8mm/22 gauge panels were finished with Pre-weathered Graphite Gray. The RHEINZINK panels were fabricated by MetalQuarters, Savannah, and installed by Integrated Construction and Restoration, Waverly, GA. The RHEINZINK distributor on the project was MetalTech—USA, Peachtree City, GA.

Koncerted - Home Automation & Home Media
Built in 1969 with only one previous owner, this quaint Cape house needed a full renovation. We took the opportunity to wire for both the client’s current and future needs. Ultra-high bandwidth cabling throughout the house allows for the next internet speed bump over 1 gigabit. The owners are self-described “recovering audiophiles,” so the speaker and equipment selection required a high-end solution to achieve this sound quality throughout 18 zones of indoor and outdoor audio. In addition, a lighting control system with close to 40 keypad locations strategically placed throughout the house was designed to let them control multiple lights from anywhere in the house, as well as to automate routine lighting scenes.
In the family room, a surround sound setup complemented a 77-inch OLED TV wrapped in a custom black walnut frame to conceal the TV. Several custom programmed iPads are located in rooms with TVs, as well as a master control in the kitchen. Lastly, smart thermostats, video doorbells, smart door locks, 11 high-resolution cameras, and a smart water leak protection system allow the owners to monitor the house whether they are home or away.
