Hideaway, Le Marche - San Marino, Italy
A historical Hideaway.

A well-hidden place where the spirit finds its peace, nested between the Romagna, the Marches and Tuscany. Entering the gate, one leaves behind the pace of chaotic lives, and abandons itself to the joy of living of this ancient land. It is meant to be understood as a site of experience, where nature, culture, history and pleasure are elevated to the centre of things in order to finally rediscover it in oneself. A sort of “back to the simplicity”, aiming to dedicate oneself to observation and drawing from it valuable experiences for one’s life. Each of the three houses presents itself as an unexpected world in its own right, closed in on itself and yet a harmonious part of the whole, waiting to be enlivened by lively laughter, animated conversation and playfulness. This territory is a paradise for lovers of nature and the great outdoors. The sheer variety of places and landscapes enables visitors to take excursions on foot, on horseback or by mountain bike. History and architecture enthusiasts can follow an itinerary of strongholds and castles dotted around the area. Lovers of gourmet food will discover a full range of traditional dishes and quality local produce all year round. The rich variety of museums enables exploration into the rural arts, medieval architecture, archaeological finds and contemporary art.

Crafting a space that is so indicative of the individual- where it looks and feels like that person is the epitome of good design. This worn out bath’s transformation began by listening to the client to gain a sense of what she valued and what she wanted. A recent widow, she wanted to feel enveloped and warmed, soothed and pampered. This total make- over involved a new electrical plan, layout, new marble flooring, custom designed cabinetry to conceal all the necessities beautifully, wall and ceiling decorative paint treatments, custom hand-made tile, hand-made hardware, and spectacular lighting enhanced by mirrored cabinets. The design was further elevated by incorporating the client’s china cabinet to house toiletries and mementos, a wedding gift from her late husband’s grandmother. Sentimental and charming, this bath is as functional as it is beautiful, and a daily pleasure to the client.

This beautiful master bathroom gives not only visual pleasure but a complete bathing experience. The air jet bathtub has a heated seat, back and neck, also with a drop of oil over a heated element the oils are absorbed directly through the skin. The custom designed cabinetry has a beauty and strength to it as well as providing plenty of storage.

Marie Burgos Design
Established in 1895 as a warehouse for the spice trade, 481 Washington was built to last. With its 25-inch-thick base and enchanting Beaux Arts facade, this regal structure later housed a thriving Hudson Square printing company. After an impeccable renovation, the magnificent loft building’s original arched windows and exquisite cornice remain a testament to the grandeur of days past. Perfectly anchored between Soho and Tribeca, Spice Warehouse has been converted into 12 spacious full-floor lofts that seamlessly fuse Old World character with modern convenience. Steps from the Hudson River, Spice Warehouse is within walking distance of renowned restaurants, famed art galleries, specialty shops and boutiques. With its golden sunsets and outstanding facilities, this is the ideal destination for those seeking the tranquil pleasures of the Hudson River waterfront.
Expansive private floor residences were designed to be both versatile and functional, each with 3 to 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and a home office. Several residences enjoy dramatic Hudson River views.
This open space has been designed to accommodate a perfect Tribeca city lifestyle for entertaining, relaxing and working.
The design reflects a tailored “old world” look, respecting the original features of the Spice Warehouse. With its high ceilings, arched windows, original brick wall and iron columns, this space is a testament of ancient time and old world elegance.
The guest bedroom was designed with travel in mind.It features elegant French Provencal bedding paired with jute accent pillows, travel chest and luggages as well as recycled blown glass table lamps and rich woods.

This Siberian Horse Painting is absolutely mesmerising and without a doubt has taken the centre stage in this room.
Redwood Builders
Redwood Builders had the pleasure of working with leading SF based architects Seth and Melissa Hanley of Design Blitz to create a sleek and modern backyard "Shudio" structure. Located in their backyard in Sebastopol, the Shudio replaced a falling-down potting shed and brings the best of his-and-hers space planning: a painting studio for her and a beer brewing shed for him. During their frequent backyard parties (which often host more than 90 guests) the Shudio transforms into a bar with easy through traffic and a built in keg-orator. The finishes are simple with the primary surface being charcoal painted T111 with accents of western red cedar and a white washed ash plywood interior. The sliding barn doors and trim are constructed of California redwood. The trellis with its varied pattern creates a shadow pattern that changes throughout the day. The trellis helps to enclose the informal patio (decomposed granite) and provide privacy from neighboring properties. Existing mature rhododendrons were prioritized in the design and protected in place where possible.

This is the beautiful hallway storage cupboard we built & fitted for the lovely Josephine at Country and coastal interiors we had been following Josephine on Instagram & spotted she had made a sketch of a cupboard for her hallway... Not long after we got a quote to her and booked the job in. It has been a pleasure from start to finish working for her and the cupboard has come together beautifully. It is finished in Old White Farrow and Ball No4 eggshell (a colour I'm now a bit obsessed with) real oak veneer internals, brass hinges & magnet catches that compliments the colour and small wooden painted knobs. The middle section has a V grooved back and a seat for when you need to quickly put a pair of garden boots on - lots of hanging pegs for coats and shelving space in both cupboards.

This Orangery provides the finishing touches to a completely renovated Georgian rectory in Lincolnshire.
An open-plan kitchen extension is created by removing the wall between the two spaces, also allowing light to flood into the once-dark kitchen area.
The result is a much-used room which is enjoyed by the whole family at all times of the day.
A small built-in dining table makes meal times a pleasure, whilst experiencing the atmosphere of the orangery.

This indoor/outdoor master bath was a pleasure to be a part of. This one of a kind bathroom brings in natural light from two areas of the room and balances this with modern touches. We used dark cabinetry and countertops to create symmetry with the white bathtub, furniture and accessories.
Diamond Decks
Diamond Decks can make your backyard dream a reality! It was an absolute pleasure working with our client to bring their ideas to life.
Our goal was to design and develop a custom deck, pergola, and privacy wall that would offer the customer more privacy and shade while enjoying their hot tub.
Our customer is now enjoying their backyard as well as their privacy!
Designer's Edge Kitchen & Bath
The remodel took traffic flow and appliance placement into consideration. The refrigerator was relocated to an area closer to the sink and out of the flow of traffic. Recessed lighting and under-cabinet lighting now flood the kitchen with warm light. The closet pantry and a half wall between the family room and kitchen were removed and a peninsular with seating area was added to provide a large work surface, storage on both sides and shelving with baskets to store homework, craft items and books. Opening this area up provided a welcoming spot for friends and family to gather when entertaining. The microwave was placed at a height that was safe and convenient for the whole family. Cabinets taken to the ceiling, large drawers, pantry roll-outs and a corner lazy susan have helped make this kitchen a pleasure to gather as a family.

Nothing evokes the spirit of the ocean more than unobstructed cliff side views of the Pacific and nautical décor. This custom home was built to entertain guests who can’t help but enjoy the pleasures of sunny days and the warmth and light of the unique fire wall into the night.
