With rough-cut stone walls and a glass front, this wine cave combines old-world style with a traditional sensibility. It was a challenge to regulate the temperature, as we originally anticipated the cave would be cooler than it was. But, because this cellar is built directly into the Camelback Mountain, and not underground, the space was very warm. Our refrigeration team installed a cooling system to regulate the perfect temperature.

On a private over 2.5 acre knoll overlooking San Francisco Bay is one of the exceptional properties of Marin. Built in 2004, this over 5,000 sq. ft Craftsman features 5 Bedrooms and 4.5 Baths. Truly a trophy property, it seamlessly combines the warmth of traditional design with contemporary function. Mt. Tamalpais and bay vistas abound from the large bluestone patio with built-in barbecue overlooking the sparkling pool and spa. Prolific native landscaping surrounds a generous lawn with meandering pathways and secret, tranquil garden hideaways. This special property offers gracious amenities both indoors and out in a resort-like atmosphere. This thoughtfully designed home takes in spectacular views from every window. The two story entry leads to formal and informal rooms with ten foot ceilings plus a vaulted panel ceiling in the family room. Natural stone, rich woods and top-line appliances are featured throughout. There is a 1,000 bottle wine cellar with tasting area. Located in the highly desirable and picturesque Country Club area, the property is near boating, hiking, biking, great shopping, fine dining and award-winning schools. There is easy access to Highway 101, San Francisco and entire Bay Area.

Welcome to the Wine Vault! This custom wine cellar in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California is one of a kind. Seriously - Everything about this space from the custom wine racking to the stone work to the sleek stainless steel framed doors.. a one of a kind custom wine cellar designed, built, and installed by custom wine cellar experts Vintage Cellars. This large custom wine room sits in the entertainment room downstairs in this gorgeous Beverly Hills mansion. Walls, ceiling, and floors of stone accentuate the dark custom wine racking used to cradle each wine bottle. Metal Wine Racking is commonplace and a very popular feature in many custom wine cellars / wine rooms / wine walls / wine vaults nowadays - but this was even a first for us too. The client worked closely with designers at Vintage Cellars to come up with a very unique look and desired effect for the bottles, utilizing custom railroad pegs in the style of Carriage Bolts to display each wine bottle neck out. This 500 bottle cellar masterpiece quickly became the showpiece of the entire downstairs of the home. Through careful consideration and planning, the design and install team was able to recess the cooling unit into the wall and duct in the cool air to keep this space at at constant 55 degrees with a perfect relative humidity.
