Zakopane in the Sierras
Traditional Dining Room, Sacramento
Hand carved, built-in breakfast nook in 350 year old reclaimed teak, from old farmhouses in JAVA. Lithographs are 18th century from Westphalia, plates are hand made by the Hutsell mountain people in the Carpathian Mtns of western Ukraine, and roe deer antler mounts are Black Forest antiques. The carving pattern on the benches is known as "karveskurd" in Norwegian and were inspired by researching old Scandinavian mangleboards.
