I had (AND continue ) a great experience with John. I began my interaction with in February and finalized my design in June; I took my time doing things and John was a wealth of knowledge and extremely patient. We (my S.O. and neighbor) measured things various time to get things JUST right (at John's request), but the primary length of time was due to me wanting to get the design just right. I had begun getting estimates on finishing our unfinished basement prior to interacting with John and then realized that I needed help figuring out what I REALLY wanted in this blank canvas. John did JUST that. I appreciated John's gentle nudging on some of my requests and we ultimately got to the sweet spot. If you are on the fence about hiring John - he is WORTH every penny, is accessible, kind and very INFORMATIVE! I am currently awaiting quotes from contractors; I'll add pics once we begin this MAJOR project.

I highly recommend John for designer basements. I could t be happier with the final design. He was great to work with and extremely knowledgeable. He pays attention to detail and is very methodical to ensure he does his due diligence to make sure everything is perfect. I have a small basement and wanted several things incorporated into the design. Some how he was able to get it all and still have an open feel. My contractor also is very happy with the designs. All the detail is there, including pipes and electrical.

John has been great to work with during the design phase of our project. A couple of contractors have already noted the detail in the plan and it has also assisted us in getting quotes for the job that make it easier to compare apples to apples. John is very attentive to details and keeps the project moving. He spent more time waiting on our todos - reviews and some additional measurement clarifications than we spent waiting for work to be completed. Would absolutely engage with John again if the need arises and look forward to posting photos of our finished space once we have decided on a contractor and completed the project.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company. John did a fantastic job on my basement design. By using John, I ended up with a beautiful design plan that fit what I wanted, with all the luxury fun details. My contractor was incredibly impressed and said he will now suggest his clients go to John first! Excellent service from Jon. He has done two different basement designs for us - one at our personal residence and one he recently completed at our lake house. His desire to understand everything about the current conditions before beginning his design work really helps him find areas of concern - before they become problems for you. Then he is willing and able to quickly knock out multiple layouts - adding options as he goes along - until you get the exact plan you want. I will add photos of the project when completed, but so far we are very happy with this service.
