About Us

Our approach to building is to create homes of distinction with an emphasis on design details. We do this by capturing the charm of timeless architecture without sacrificing modern amenities. Our reputation is built on honesty, integrity and stability and our customer satisfaction is reflected in the number of repeat customers and referrals. We set ourselves apart by taking a limited number of projects each year which in turn gives us the ability to oversee every detail, as premier builders in Fort Worth. Our neighborhoods are your neighborhoods. Douglas Brooks lived in Northeast Tarrant county for 20 years and in FT Worth for 24 years after graduating from Texas Christian University. He has a wealth of knowledge about the people and communities in which they live and the difference is always in the detail from concept to key.

Brooks Custom Homes is the BEST builder in the Fort Worth area. Doug Brooks took our historic house by TCU and turned in into our dream house! He gave us a beautiful updated family friendly home while preserving the original style and aesthetic of our neighborhood. His attention to details and the pride Doug takes in his work is reflected in our 8000 sq ft new home which has been featured in magazines and spotlighted in a kitchen tour. Our house came together on time and on budget. We would build with him again and he has an impeccable reputation. Not only is Doug professional, his love for architecture provided him to come up with creative solutions to any obstacle. We love every inch of our Brooks Custom Home. If you are building a home, this husband and wife team is a rare find!!!

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Brooks Properties. From start to finish everything was seemless. Doug is on property daily and easily accessible throughout the process. Doug was amazing at utilizing the time schedule. Someone was at our home everyday. Friends were shocked we completely our custom home in less than one year! The job site was incredibly clean which we appreciated out of respect for our neighbors. The attention to detail and design is unmatched in the Fort Worth community! We have many friends who have built homes and I can say whole heartily our experience was by far the most painless, professional and quality experience. My husband and I would highly recommend Brooks Properties to everyone looking to build a home!

Doug Brooks is the BEST builder in Ft Worth! We built our first home roughly 8 years ago and still love it! Doug's attention to detail is amazing. He is kind, knowledgeable and so easy to work with. You can not go wrong with Brooks Custom Homes and his wife, Jana, was invaluable as well. She has amazing taste and helped me pick out so many unique items.

We highly recommend Doug Brooks and Brooks Custom Homes. He was professional, timely, organized, honest and so easy to work with. He always brought better ideas to the table than we did and went beyond what a typical home builder would do for a client. He was so attentive to all our needs and most importantly, was just as responsive to any issues we had after the job was completed. We would build another home with him without hesitation!
