Click Architects did an absolutely wonderful job helping us design and implement our home renovation. Our project was extensive: We added a garage and an entryway onto our house, gutted and completely remodeled the kitchen, and turned our old garage into a dining room with a sitting area and mud room. We started by having Steve and Cheryl come to our house and assess the space, and then had an extensive conversation about what we wanted and the different ways to achieve it. Cheryl suggested I collect ideas of anything I liked – colors, lighting, materials, design, etc., to share with them as they got to know us and our preferences. They clearly explained the whole process and timeline for their work and their fees. Cheryl and Steve came up with two beautiful design plans to choose from, and then met with me to go through both plans. It was really fun at that point to look at both designs and imagine them with our current house. I was also able to share them with some family members to get their input. After settling on one of the designs, we worked for a few weeks to hone the design. Cheryl and Steve were very patient and understanding when we had questions or wanted to change something. They were also very helpful in explaining everything, and in suggesting we get a second estimate on the building cost from a builder they had had success working with previously. After we gave our final design to the builder and got the estimate back, Steve and Cheryl helped us figure out reasonable ways to cut some of the costs. Steve was a huge help with selecting materials and finding good prices on the materials. This saved me a lot of time, and I greatly appreciated his experienced, aesthetic input into material and color decisions. Our house has some unusual angles and windows, and the Clicks were able to incorporate this into their design so everything looked organic and natural with the addition. More than one neighbor stopped to tell me how natural and beautiful the addition looked. Inside, the Clicks suggested some custom cabinetry, lighting, and other features that all turned out to be amazing. Once our project started, Steve and Cheryl regularly answered any questions I had, met on-site to review the work being done, and communicated well with the builders. This helped the entire project go smoother. The project was slowed down a few times by supply-chain issues, and Steve would check in if he hadn’t heard from me for a while to make sure everything was still on track. Steve and Cheryl were extremely professional at all times with me and my husband and with the builders. The total building phase took 9 months. When our project was done, Steve and Cheryl came over with a lovely plant to go in my new kitchen! They were excited to see the finished project, and they also gave me a recommendation for someone to do landscaping. I highly recommend Click Architects!

It has been a pleasure working with Cheryl and Steve on our remodel. Cheryl has been there with us from start to finish, guiding us through every step of the process. She is highly organized and kept us on track with all the design details. Throughout the project she was able to balance our goals with what was possible, and was a very effective liaison between us and the contractor. Her detailed plans reflect her years of experience, as well as an eye for design. We appreciated her input on many details including light fixtures, door pulls, etc. This guided us toward a much more stylish and beautiful interior than we would have ever put together on our own. We have been working with steve on our basement remodel. It was the first time we did a remodel in our home and we are so glad we did it with Steve and Cheryl. Our home is a 1960 mid-century modern home and we really wanted our remodel to keep the spirit/history of the home while modernizing it. Steve understood exactly what we had in mind and it always felt effortless to communicate adjustment or ideas. Steve also provided several ideas that totally transformed our perspective on what could be done and we loved a lot of his designs. Steve and Cheryl were always very receptive to feedback we had too and we felt we were always making progress on our « dream home ». When the project actually started , Steve was a huge help in recommending some materials providers and also helping adjust details with the contractors where it was outside of our limited expertise. We are so happy with the results and have some more projects we are looking forward to complete with Steve.

Cheryl Click helped us with a main level renovation/remodel of an older split level home, including the kitchen. It transformed our kitchen, living room and dining room into a contemporary, open concept, light-filled space. As an architect, Cheryl is excellent in all respects. She has superb communication skills, listens to desires and incorporates client desires into the overall plan, brings creative ideas and solutions, and is very effective interfacing with contractors and making sure everything is completed as planned. It was a pleasure to work with such a professional, talented, and amiable architect.

I am a custom builder/ developer, over 20 years I have worked with many architects with varying degrees of success but rarely with consistency. This has not been an issue with Click Architects. Cheryl and Steve are a wife and husband team who are smart, innovative, creative, resourceful, collaborative, environmentally friendly, cost conscious and great listeners. It is a rarity to find so much talent of this magnitude ! I have worked with them on several projects and each one has been a tremendous success from design implementation to finish project. Steve and Cheryl have an uncanny knack to solved issues that will ultimately arise on new construction. There ability to help me design my way out of construction issues has been unparalleled. Steve has a calming nature and always together with Cheryl will find a solution to address and fix the issues with incredible results. I cannot imagine not having them on my team ! Presently we have 3 projects in various phases of construction and a few more in the permitting process. Each home we build is one of a kind and requires much forethought and planning and resourcefulness. I ABSOLUTELY could not function without this team . They truly have been what makes me successful. As if there talents were not enough on top of this they are genuinely great people ! Oh and they answer their phone !

After a recommendation from our mutual friend Click Architects had reached out to us to construct one of their renovation projects. During a pre-construction phase, Cheryl and Steve were very clear and strategic in finding a project that would effectively reflect the client’s needs and respect the budget. During the construction, they were always available and responsive to any questions or clarifications we needed. The entire renovation was very well detailed and specified, which on its hand helped us to determine the exact cost of the project before it even started. After an introductory meeting, we engaged the Clicks to create a vision for the major renovation of our mid-century modern home in Seattle. They came to the first meeting with fresh ideas for a project that we had been mulling for years. Through the process, plan drawings and 3D computer models of the home were skillfully executed and gave us a clear understanding of the vision. The open concept plan that we built Is modern, welcoming, and functions extremely well for our family and lifestyle. Cheryl and Steve worked with us every step of the way - from conceptualization through design development, permitting, construction and completion of the project. Their communication throughout the project was prompt and clear, whether in person in site meetings or digitally through all the usual means, or even on good old fashion phone calls. In 2017 we purchased the ugliest house on Clear Creek Drive in Springdale, AR. Built in 1980, the 2000 square foot brown brick ranch was in rough shape: dark tones everywhere, super outdated everything, and the previous owner had 3 large dogs who stayed in the house 24/7. Steve and Cheryl Click came to the rescue. This power team swiftly provided both paper & 3D plans that allowed us to have our DREAM home! We loved their designs with sleek lines and modern views, but they also kept the areas we needed our traditional touches. They truly captured our wishes and turned them into architectural plans. Sounds corny, but we are honored that they designed our little place. We recommend the Clicks highly!

The Click team was so fun and easy to work with. They had great ideas. We took down a 75 year old leaning bldg and built a very modern structure in downtown Fayetteville, Ar. It’s now my new hair studio

I had a great remodeling experience with my architect, Steve Click. I am a first-time home owner and planned to remodel our 1970's split-level house in Seattle. We didn't need to expand the house's 1,500 sq.f. footprint, but needed to polish the ugly exterior and also to modernize the interior. Early 2014, I interviewed three architects in the area and decided to go with Steve. At the first meeting, he was very professional and listened to me very carefully to understand my needs and priorities. What I really like about him is that he stayed that way all through my one-year-long remodeling project. I was charged hourly ( unlike some architects who take a certain percentage, often 15%, of the construction cost. My architect fee ended up slightly less than that.) for his expertise and never occurred to me was him overcharging me. He was always quick to respond, being a liaison between me and my contractor, and made sure I am comfortable and well-informed when making decisions. I took a laissez-faire approach to the exterior and let Steve do most of the decision makings, but specified extensively for the interior, as I knew how me and my family behave inside. I'm extremely happy with trusting him to do all the exterior works and he did a great job with making changes to his interior plan as I express my ideas and gave me valuable feedbacks (e.g. I tend to weigh more on usability but he gave me other insights like resale-value and streamlined look). The outcome of this positive client-architect relationship is a truly beautiful and earthy modern house (e.g. Few dozens compliments from the neighbors and strangers) with a functional and modernized living space. I highly recommend this talented architect.

Cheryl and Steve are an amazing team. We struggled with the layout and vision of our kitchen for a long time, but when we hired Click Architects, they came up with an amazing plan that incorporated all of our ideas. I would use them for our future projects.

We hired Click Architects for an interior remodel project. The project included a full kitchen & bathroom remodel as well as small design problems with a fire place, flooring and space use. The kitchen & bathroom had to be totally redesigned and reconfigured. They were wonderful to work with and always on time. They gave us multiple design options and helped us make the final "right" decision. The final plans incorporated everything we wanted and needed and helped us solve the problems we were having with a few of our ideas. There was not a single issue with their work, the time they spent ,or the cost! We will work with Cheryl and Steve again on any future projects and have recommended them numerous times to friends.

Steve Click with Click Architects did a wonderful job creating the home I had in mind for retirement. Steve expressed his desire to design the home I wanted and listened to my thoughts and ideas and presented me with a house plan that met all my desires. He also collaborated with his wife Cheryl during the project to get different perspectives. Throughout the process Steve remained focused on my budget and brought different ideas to the table in order to stay within the budgeted amount. I found Steve very comfortable working with my local contractor even though his firm is states away. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Steve is the architect and designer for our current remodeling project. He's been so great and helpful from the beginning on designing our house structure to recommending style of furniture that would match the design. He offers creative and excellent ideas and alternatives based on our budget. He devotes 120% of his thoughts and ideas in accommodating the style of the house that we like and the tight budget we have. It's a big project and we've formed a great team that we have been feeling comfortable to work with each other. There is only 1 month left before the project is finished and we are very happy to see the progress. I highly recommend Steve to anyone who wants to do their house remodeling.
