Crane Painting

I have worked with various contractors for my home projects. I have a great appreciation for good quality workmanship and professionalism. Jody exemplifies both of these qualities. I hired Jody because the previous contractor was not able to stain my staircase in the color I requested (dark mahogany for the railings and treads) or produce the quality of work I desired for this project. Jody was tasked to produce the stain color I originally requested and sand down two coats of oil based polyurethane to correct the issues the previous contractor left behind. Jody also spray painted other materials that were needed in order to complete the staircase. The staircase was newly constructed of mahogany wood railings and treads, consisting also of new risers, balusters and base. Jody has an innate ability to step into a complex project and complete it flawlessly and with ease. Attention to detail is important to me and Jody was able to produce the quality of work I expected from a contractor. The oil based polyurethane was completed in a matte finish. The staircase looks incredible. Jody is a man of his word and he and his team are honest people. Jody truly cares about his customers. Qualities I greatly appreciate in a contractor.

I hired Jody to stain and paint a new staircase that had been installed. The new stain needed to match the surrounding floor and he delivered. The staircase looks beautiful... And the transitions from paint to stain are clean and crisp. A few weeks later he painted my foyer and hallway.

It's obvious Jody is the consummate professional. He has stained and painted many stairs and rails for me and my clients, over the past few years. His experience and attention to detail is fantastic. All I have to do is give the homeowner his number and he takes care of the rest. Whether we're working with oak, maple, cherry, mahogany, it doesn't matter. He works with the client till perfect shade, and color, and gloss level is achieved. They always get him to paint something else in and around the house and often the whole house. I'm in process of remodeling my own master and hall baths, and he'll be doing the painting in a few weeks guaranteed! In 30 years of construction, I've seen hundreds, maybe thousands of painters, and I must say Jody is at the top of the list.

Crane Painting painted my entire house. I was out of town throughout the process, picking colors on-line and working over email/phone, which must have been frustrating for them to deal with. I could not be more pleased. First, the owner is very professional -- he really knows paints and colors. He asked questions to figure out what I like and made suggestions which were all excellent in the end. Second, his work is impeccable. There was not a mistake to be found and I looked. Having lived in the house for a couple of weeks now, I still haven't found a single issue. Third, he was completely reliable and trustworthy -- showed up on time, and finished up when he said he would (even though I asked him to do a couple of extra things). Very impressive from start to finish.

A flood in my condo required installing new laminate flooring, porcelain kitchen floor tiles, all new baseboards and a paint job. He also handled refinishing a bathroom cabinet, and installing a new sink and counter top Perhaps the hardest part was ripping up the ruined floor. Jody did it all skillfully with great attention to detail and good will. He was very obliging, easy to work with and thorough.
