My wife and I were lucky enough to work with Kevin Pellón and DSB architecture on gut renovating our fifth avenue duplex. I truly cannot recommend Kevin and DSB architecture enough. There are certain rare individuals who are not only experts in their craft, but bring with them such a sense an infectious sense of joy and enthusiasm that they make even a potentially difficult and painful experience fun. Working with Kevin was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We went through 30+ designs for our apartment. This was a remarkably collaborative experience where we would discuss features we liked or disliked with Kevin and he would come back (often in only 8-12 hours) with new drawings showing our discussed changes, and then including an additional set of drawings showing his new ideas. This was all included as part of DSB architecture's extremely reasonable price. I was consistently impressed by how hard of a worker and how responsive Kevin is. I would often send emails late at night (11 pm - 1 am) and be shocked to get nearly immediate responses. Not only did Kevin never come close to missing a deadline, but where some architects would take weeks or months, Kevin would take hours or days.

DSB Plus Architects designed, went through the planning process and prepared construction drawings for a 5 story building in New York City for us and did a fantastic job. From start to finish they were very responsive and gave us all the attention we needed. They helped solve countless problems. Their small team uses the most modern tools and are available at any hour. They made a long process feel fast and we never missed a deadline. Thank you DSB Plus.

My husband and I loved Kevin Pellon's energy when we met him to talk about renovating our Brooklyn loft. We didn't end up working with him, because we chose an architect who had already worked in the building to satisfy our condo's board. It was a really close, tough decision. But alas, our board made us nervous since we're first time home buyers; but looking back, we would have been absolutely fine going with Kevin. We still found ourselves calling Kevin from time to time, because his expertise and energy are a godsend. We cannot recommend him enough for his warmth, professionalism, and expertise.

My wife and I have worked with them for 4 months on an addition in Harrison, NY and could not be happier. I have worked with 3 other architects in the past with ok results, so imagine my surprise when dealing with dsb's Kevin & Todd and seeing what great architects can do for a project. Todd and Kevin are the nicest guys but don't let their niceness fool you, these guys came from big firms and now have a small practice where they seem to be having fun. They are incredibly knowledgeable in all things technical and code but still manage to design beautifully. They constantly went the extra mile and seemed to love the work and the results show it. Bojan and Christine in their office were super nice too. I recommend them to everyone I know.
